We agree with our friends at the Humane Society of Southeast Texas that Mixed Breeds can make the best pets!
When you adopt a pet, know that the following things cannot be compromised....
1. Cats are adoptable only as indoor pets.
2. Outside dogs are required to remain inside a fenced yard within the city limits, and need at least a three-sided shelter.
3. Do not chain your animal at any time, unless on a leash.
4. All animals should be provided a good home with dry, clean sleeping quarters, wholesome food, and clean, fresh water in sufficient amounts.
5. Understand that it may take some time for your new pet to become comfortable with it's new home, so lots of patience may be needed!
