A Different Kind of Family Sport!
Looking for a new sport for the family to be involved in?

Fencing, the art of swordsmanship, has been featured in movies from The Princess Bride to Cyrano de Bergerac, The Three Musketeers to Highlander, and Robin Hood to The Mask of Zorro.

Fencing may be the ultimate mind-body sport. It develops speed, agility, balance, and intelligence and can be enjoyed by a vast array of enthusiasts, regardless of gender, age, or even body type. Above all, it's fun and it is a sport the enire family can particpate in!

Southeast Texas has a Fencing Club that has been around for quite awhile -The Spindletop Cavaliers.

The Spindletop Cavaliers Fencing times are 7pm-9pm Tuesday and Saturday evenings. The Spindletop Cavaliers do not fence on holidays or holiday weekends. You can find them at St. Marks Episcopal Church Gym, at 680 Calder in Beaumont.

Go to their website to find out more about joining them and how little you need to try it out! Or for more information, you can contact Fr. Sinclair Oubre, The Spindletop Cavaliers Coach at 409-985-8010.
